Robinson would go on to play 14 seasons for the Spurs, becoming one of the most popular players in the history of the franchise. In 1997, the Spurs had the first pick in the NBA Draft, which they used to select Wake Forest University forward Tim Duncan. The Spurs would repeat as NBA champions again in 2003, and Robinson ended his spectacular career after winning his second NBA title.
